Rev. 12:12 AS INTELLIGENT AS A CHIMPANZEE

"because he knoweth" (Rev. 12:12)

Another short fragment it seems the Father wants me to consider. The enemy is neither omnipresent --tho' ubiquotous, nor is he omniopotent -- tho' very strong, nor as we'd look closely at here, is he omniscient -- tho' highly intelligent. Perhaps humans would do well to remind ourselves of those three qualities, how they're so far removed from God's characteristics perhaps, yet far, far above man's.

Am I trying to sound intelligent, like a Bible scholar? Not at all. Well, I remember once hearing how the enemy's intelligence was much higher than ours was above a chimpanzee's! THAT is how intelligent I am!

Some humans find that comparison insulting, but if you think about it, homo sapiens and chimpanzees are both life forms of the same species of mammals on planet earth so VERY CLOSELY RELATED, if you think of the rest of existence. Insects "compute" only within confines of "instinct", and some of us earthlings have guidelines of "logic"!

So actually, the difference between man and insects might be closer than the difference between man and the great dragon. Altho' our Heavenly Father may have thoughts in Heaven such we cannot know, and we call them lofty, we cannot kid ourselves. While we crawl around on earth hauling up mounds of dirt or constructing towers of babels and webs of interdestruction... There is an enemy who has, for centuries, commanded the skies -- once called the Prince of Light, now called Prince of the Power of the Air -- and leads a squadron a third the strength of the legion once under him, their potential far exceeding any worldly national force.

The nations that realize they have Heaven's forces at their disposal can rest at ease, but others risk much peril: the moment this former Prince of Light -- and present Prince of Power of Air feels a country will not benefit him, he can go in and squash it with his renegade troops...well, unless Heaven decides to mercifully interfere and help, that is. God didn't just close His eyes to what they did after casting them out of Heaven. He kept his eye on them, because He knew they'd be up to no good.

Yes, he (the great dragon) knoweth, in Rev. 12:12; but our Father God, from eternity past to eternity future, knoweth too. And I am His. Amen.
